INTERPRETATION OF THE RESULTS
Positive test result:
If both (C) and (A)line are visible, Influenza A positive.
If both (C) and (B) line are visible, Influenza B positive.
If all three (C) lines, and (A) line and (B) line are visible, Influenza A and Influenza B positive.
If both( C) and (T) line are visible, SARS-CoV-2 positive.
If both (C) and (T) line are visible, RSV positiveThe shade of lines may vary, but even if a faint/weak line appears, it should be considered positive.
If you have a POSITIVE result, follow the guidance from your local State or Territory Health Department for guidance on confirmation testing if necessary, and if unwell seek medical assistance for SARS-CoV-2 and individuals with a positive result or who are unwell must consult a medical practitioner for follow-up clinical care for Influenza and RSV..
Negative test result:
Only one red line appears in the control region (C), and no line in the region (A), (B), and (T)
The negative result indicates that there are no RSV, Flu A/B, Covid-19 particles in the sample or the number of viral particles is below the detectable range.
Even if you get a negative result, you still need to follow all public health advice on limiting the spread Covid-19, Flu A/B and RSV.
If symptoms persist, repeat testing and consult a medical practitioner for follow-up clinical care.
Invalid test result:
No red line appears in the control region (C). The test is invalid even if there is a line on the region A, B, A/B or T.
If a C-line does not appear, review the test procedure and repeat the test using a new test device. If invalid result continues after repeating, please contact Touch Biotechnology on the provided contact number or email for assistance

I use this brand and they’re this test for Covid. Also, with young teens coming home with illnesses from school, it feels good to know if it’s just a cold or flu A or B. Good to know if I need to see a doctor. And advising school to report illnesses.

As an FYI, 2 out of 3 tests showed faint positive for Flu A/B, the person in question went to get a swap at a GP and all came back negative. I purchased these for a retail business for staff and i'm concerned about the false positives for FLU as it could unnecassarily reduce available staff numbers. Can someone get back to me on this?

Regarding the GP results vs the positive results that our tests returned, there can be several reasons: Cross-reactivity with other unknown viruses / Swab contaminated after opening / Reagent contaminated / Testing area contaminated. TouchBio's rapid antigen tests currently demonstrate the highest (>98%) sensitivity (Very High Sensitivity) and one of the lowest limit of detection (LOD)s in the market. However, we recommend that testing twice is highly recommended when the results are positive, for your interest, the FDA recommends 2 tests even if the results are negative. If you can email us your details at touch@touchaustralia.com.au, we would be happy to replace the kits for you.
