Interpreting the test results
Positive test result:
If both C- and A-line are visible, Influenza A result.If all three C- lines, and A line and B-line are visible, Influenza A and Influenza B test results are positive and valid.
The shade may vary, but if even a faith line appears, it should be considered positive. If you have a POSITIVE result, follow the guidance from your local State or Territory Health Department for guidance on confirmation testing if necessary, and if unwell seek medical assistance” for SARS-CoV-2 and “individuals with a positive result or who are unwell must consult a medical practitioner for follow-up clinical care” for Influenza.
Negative test result:
Only one red line appears in the control region {C), and no line in the region (A), (B), and (T)
Even if you get a negative result you still need to follow all public health advice on limiting the spread Covid-19 and Flu A/B. If symptoms persist. repeat testing and consult a medical practitioner for follow-up clinical care.
Invalid test result:
No red line appears in the control region (C). The test is invalid even if there is a line on the region A, B, A/B or T.
